Lingerie

To qualify under this business listing, merchandise will consist of undergarments, hosiery items, sleepwear, and accessories. Eligible operations can display, demonstrate, and sell directly to the consumer via mail order catalogues and/or arranging parties, generally in private homes to an individual or a small group. Adult toys are not eligible under this class.

Representatives and distributors of Essential Bodywear, Jeunique International Inc, Jockey Person to Person, and Nefful U.S.A. Inc are eligible operations for this classification.

Leather Goods

We insure individuals who manufacture leather items, including luggage, briefcases, handbags, purses, wallets, belts, cases (for keys, cards, coins, glasses, jewelry and toiletries), and other leather accessories and novelties. Construction may use total or partial-leather content, and may include wood, metal, plastic reinforcements, and hardware. Qualifying business operations may receive fully tanned leathers from tanneries, or may opt to handle the final stages of tanning themselves. Animal/pet accessories are not eligible under this class.

Men’s & Boys’ Clothing

The businesses we insure under this listing offer merchandise for men and boys that consists of clothing, as well as accessory items such as belts, hats, shoes, etc. Infant and toddler clothing and accessories are not eligible.

Monogramming

To qualify for coverage through Lindbergh, business operations under this class will include the marking of merchandise with a design composed of one or more letters (typically the initials of a name), used as an identifying mark. The monogram can be sewn onto fabric by hand or by machine or engraved onto metals. If done in conjunction with other crafts, we require that the insured show this as a secondary business.

Shoe Repair

Tasks completed by shoe repair businesses eligible for coverage through Lindbergh can include the following: traditional repair, shoe dying, sneaker rebuilding, filling orthopedic shoe prescriptions, repair of orthopedic devices, handbag and luggage repair, zipper repair or replacement, and leather coat and jacket alterations and repair.

Materials used in this business include heavy-duty sewing machines, automatic shoe buffers, leathers, threads, plastic and rubber heels and soles, nails and tacks, hammers, knives, shoe polishes, rags, glues, foot measuring equipment, chairs, etc.

Tailoring, Alterations & Seamstresses

We offer insurance options to tailors and seamstresses who make a living by making and/or altering articles of clothing so that they fit a person better. Tasks may include creation, alteration, and repair of clothes. In addition, zippers may be replaced or repaired, and buttons may be attached.
